Family Activities

The Family Committee is a Mountaineers activity open to all. Its purpose is to provide outdoor experience through activities such as hiking, scrambling, backpacking, rafting, climbing, etc., for all interested families. The group meets every WHEN at club headquarters (unless otherwise noted) at 7 p.m. For additional INFO, call Courtenay Schurman, 206-368-8926, or email court@bodyresults.com .

Come to our next meeting: monthly at club headquarters in Seattle

Many Family Committee meetings and Activities aren’t listed in the Go Guide. We’ve already held some great trips this past year, such as winter camping, a Lake Twenty-Two hike, a three-day backpack in the North Cascades, and rafting on the White Salmon. There are many more to come. Some great fall trips, like rock climbing in Leavenworth, and more hikes or a possible fall backpack are being planned. Come to our meeting and help plan an activity of your choosing.

NOTE: The Family Committee is actively seeking new members. If interested or if you know someone who might be, please come to our meeting or contact Courtenay Schurman, 206-368-8926, court@bodyresults.com
